ILCM is an organization with over 30 employees across five locations in the State of Minnesota including two St. Paul offices and offices in Austin, Moorhead, and Worthington. Additionally, ILCM has recently expanded to provide services in North Dakota.

Staff Attorney
Open until filled
The Southeast Asian Defense Response Project Staff Attorney will work in close partnership with Southeast Asian Freedom Network, Man Forward, and Transforming Generations to increase legal access and resources to our Southeast Asian Communities in Minnesota. The Staff Attorney is responsible for legal representation in a variety of immigration matters, including immigration court cases, and for providing information, technical assistance, outreach, and training on behalf of income-eligible persons.
Location: Flexible work environment with hybrid & in-office options; primarily based out of the Twin Cities Metro Area.
Equal Justice Works Post-Graduate Fellowships
Open until filled, preference given to applications received on or before July 15, 2026.
ILCM is seeking to sponsor applicants for EJW and/or other postgraduate legal fellowships. ILCM plans to select applicants for sponsorship by early August. ILCM and the applicant will together develop a fellowship proposal that meets the needs of the community and ILCM and the skills and interests of the applicant. If the sponsored applicant is selected for a fellowship, ILCM expects that they will accept and complete the fellowship. Most post-graduate fellowships are two years.

Legal Secretary

The Legal Secretary provides support to legal teams, in particular our New Beginnings team. The Legal Secretary performs a range of administrative and case support duties to assist ILCM staff.

Pro Bono Naturalization Law Clerk/Intern
The Naturalization Law clerk / intern will be detail-oriented to support the pro bono department in handling the naturalization cases. The clerk/intern will work under the supervision of a licensed attorney and will assist with legal research, document preparation, case management, client communication related to naturalization application.
RPO Naturalization Law clerk / Intern (Worthington)
The Naturalization Law clerk / intern will be detail-oriented to support the RPO department in Worthington, MN in handling the naturalization cases. The clerk/intern will work under the supervision of a licensed attorney and will assist with legal research, document preparation, case management, and client communication related to naturalization applications.
