Supervising Attorney

The Supervising Attorney will be responsible for supervising the Community Defense unit in collaboration with the ILCM’s Legal Director & Managing Attorney. They will provide legal oversight, guidance, and quality control for casework performed by staff, ensuring compliance with ethical standards, legal requirements, and organizational policies.
Location: Flexible work environment with hybrid & in-office options; primarily based out of the Twin Cities Metro Area.
Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and organizational support to ensure smooth daily operations across the organization. This role supports a variety of tasks—including data entry, and office coordination—while serving as a reliable point of contact for staff, clients, and external partners. The Administrative Assistant maintains accurate records, supports special projects, and helps streamline internal processes by anticipating needs and proactively addressing administrative challenges. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication and customer-service skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Crimmigation Law Clerk Researcher
The Crimmigration Law Clerk Researcher position was created to support removal defense cases at the Immigrant Law Center of MN. The research may involve reviewing Board of Immigration Appeals decisions, 8th Circuit decisions, and secondary sources. As capacity allows, the Law Clerk may also have time to provide direct assistance on case work for individuals who have cases pending before the Immigration Court in Fort Snelling, MN. There may also be opportunities for observation of ongoing immigration court hearings, depending on student interest.
Pro Bono Naturalization Law Clerk/Intern
The Naturalization Law clerk / intern will be detail-oriented to support the pro bono department in handling the naturalization cases. The clerk/intern will work under the supervision of a licensed attorney and will assist with legal research, document preparation, case management, client communication related to naturalization application.
RPO Naturalization Law clerk / Intern (Worthington)
The Naturalization Law clerk / intern will be detail-oriented to support the RPO department in Worthington, MN in handling the naturalization cases. The clerk/intern will work under the supervision of a licensed attorney and will assist with legal research, document preparation, case management, and client communication related to naturalization applications.
