ILCM provides free brief legal advice and full representation to immigrants and refugees in Minnesota who qualify for services based on the following requirements. Learn more about ILCM’s intake procedure here.
Requirements for Intake:
All potential clients must be at or below 187.5 percent of the federal poverty line. Please see the chart below for specifics or read more about federal poverty guidelines.
Type of Immigration Case
ILCM can only assist with immigration-related cases. If you are an immigrant who needs help with another area of law, such as housing, family law, public benefits, or employment, our office will not be able to assist you. We also cannot assist with non-immigrant visas, such as student or business visas.
Available Staff Resources
Like every service provider, ILCM does not have unlimited staff resources. We may not be able to assist with every case, even though you may otherwise qualify for our services. We strive to help with as many cases as possible while still providing high-quality representation.
